Spelling 32, 33, 34

Spelling lesson 32
The words in this lesson are contractions. Most often, a contraction is: 2 words put together to make a shortened word. The second word is shortened and uses an apostrophe to show missing letters.
Cannot = can’t
Did not = didn’t
Do not = don’t
Will not = won’t
Here is = here’s
There is = there’s
It is = it’s
What is = what’s
I will =  I’ll
We will = we’ll
I am = I’m
You are = you’re
They are = they’re
I have = I’ve
You have= you’ve

Spelling Lesson 33

These words are verbs in the present and past tense that can change their spelling.
Sometimes the final consonant is doubled before the –ed
or –ing ending.
